X-ray powder diffraction patterns $(\lambda=1.5406 \AA)$ for $\mathrm{CaLn}_{2} \mathrm{CuTi}_{2} \mathrm{O}_{9}(L n=\mathrm{Pr}, \mathrm{Nd}, \mathrm{Sm})$ at room temperature. The groups of peaks are indexed in the orthorhombic system (Pbnm). Inset shows the (022)-(202) peak splitting. The black rectangle in the $L n=S m$ case indicates an unidentified impurity.
